Joan Thiele

Songwriter, Singer and producer

Joan Thiele is an Italian singer-songwriter and producer. Her soundscape ranges from R&B and soul to jazz, with a cinematic touch which mirrors her love for the golden age of Italian film music and composers like Piero Umiliani and Piero Piccioni. In 2025, she made her debut at the Sanremo Music Festival with the song “Eco”, followed by the release of the album Joanita, which further explored her passion for Italian soundtracks through the use of samples from Umiliani’s repertoire. In 2023, she won the David di Donatello Awards for Best Original Song with “Proiettili”, featured in Ti mangio il cuore, presented at the 79th Venice Film Festival.
